Energy Consulting

A home energy consultant will come to your home and assess your home's performance systems. The Comprehensive Energy Audit will include an evaluation of the home's location, exposure, moisture & drainage, and building materials used. This will also include an evaluation/inspection of air leakage using diagnostic equipment such as the blower door,  evaluation/inspection of the insulation, HVAC system, HVAC duct work, water heaters, windows, doors, lighting, combustion safety, any gas leaks, carbon monoxide, radon, and any other home performance related items in the home. A report will be issued with a list of prioritized recommendations on the most cost effective retrofits that can be performed.
